BIO
Antonio “Hotep” McCloud is a respected diplomat, author, and artist, as well as an actor, model, and rapper, with a strong commitment to social justice. Known for his impactful poetry, he has released three albums, including a greatest hits collection titled Pakaveli.
He has starred in films like Scared the Sh… Out ‘Em 1 & 2 and The Life I Meant to Live, and has appeared on several podcasts, including the Ross Cloud Podcast, In the Community TV, and We the Veterans TV.
As a diplomat, Antonio received a personal letter from Obama for his work with the UN and the White House.
Antonio McCloud played football at NC A&T as a linebacker, but his career was cut short in the 1993 season due to injuries. However, he made a notable television appearance during the school’s homecoming against Howard on BET.
Antonio also served in the Navy and now enjoys veteran status.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Antonio is dedicated to giving back to his community by providing food, clothing, and shelter to the homeless. He also serves as a mentor to young adults.
